Senior Cost Accountant

VES is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant to join the team in Faridabad, India. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating plant budget and business planning activities in alignment with corporate policies. Your duties will involve providing reporting and analysis to financial direction and departments to enhance site performance within legal and internal compliance. Your essential responsibilities include producing periodic statements for reporting, managing data in SAP for accurate monthly production reports, controlling raw material and finished product stocks, estimating product costs, and supervising accounting closings. You will also manage inventories, reconcile accounts, and assist in analyzing indicators for monthly meetings. Furthermore, you will support operational teams in managing activities, develop analysis tables, monitor internal controls, advise on budget development, provide monthly forecasts, and design management procedures and tools. Your educational background should include a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, proficiency in SAP, Excel, and manufacturing processes knowledge. The ideal candidate should possess at least 10 years of plant cost control experience in an industrial setting, demonstrate technical proficiency, problem-solving skills, budget management capabilities, financial statement analysis proficiency, and effective communication in English.
