Copy Editor

Key Responsibilities

• Perform

  comprehensive language editing

  ensuring clarity, correctness, and consistent tone.
• Execute

  style editing

  based on client-specific style sheets and global guides (APA, Chicago, MLA, journal formats).
• Improve flow, readability, structure, and overall coherence of manuscripts.
  
• Review content for grammar, syntax, consistency, factual accuracy, and stylistic alignment.
  
• Ensure all deliverables meet Lumina’s quality benchmarks and timelines.
  
• Collaborate with project and editorial teams in a fully remote environment.
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 2–8 years of solid experience in

  language and style editing

  (strict requirement).
• Exceptional command of English grammar, punctuation, and usage.
  
• Strong familiarity with international style manuals.
  
• Prior experience in publishing, academic editing, or editorial services preferred.
  
• Ability to handle complex content and deliver high-quality output independently.
