Senior Content Writer

Key Responsibilities:
Keyword Research and Optimization

• Identify high-traffic, relevant keywords using tools like Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, or SEMrush.
• Integrate primary and secondary keywords naturally into the content (titles, headings, meta descriptions, body).
• Avoid keyword stuffing while maintaining search engine relevance.

Creating SEO-Friendly Content

• Write original, high-quality, and engaging content targeted to the audience.
• Use proper H1, H2, H3 headings, bullet points, and structured formatting for readability and SEO.
• Optimize images (alt tags, file names) and include internal/external links where relevant.

Content Planning

• Collaborate with SEO specialists or marketing teams to plan content calendars.
• Create content that aligns with both user intent and SEO strategy.
• Identify gaps in existing content and suggest topics for optimization.

On-Page SEO Implementation

• Write compelling meta titles and meta descriptions that improve click-through rates.
• Ensure proper use of URLs, anchor texts, and schema markup if required.
• Optimize content for featured snippets or rich results where possible.
• Content Editing and Proofreading
• Ensure content is grammatically correct, free of plagiarism, and aligns with brand voice.
• Regularly update content to maintain relevancy and improve SEO performance.

Performance Monitoring

• Track content performance through Google Analytics, Search Console, or SEO tools.
• Identify which content drives traffic, engagement, and conversions, and optimize underperforming pages.

Staying Updated

• Keep up with SEO trends, Google algorithm updates, and best practices.
• Adapt content strategies based on new ranking factors or search engine updates.
