We are looking for a skilled Senior Consultant with 2 to 7 years of experience to serve as a ServiceNow CMDB / SAM / HAM Functional consultant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ITSM Configuration Management and excellent analytical skills. ### Roles and Responsibility Implement a comprehensive CMDB governance strategy aligned with the organization's IT and business goals. Collaborate with field resources to identify and validate the complete life-cycle of end-user and enterprise Configuration Items (CIs). Perform configuration audits to ensure consistency between physical/virtual IT inventory and asset and CMDB records. Enforce CMDB governance policies, standards, and procedures. Develop and deliver regular reports on CMDB status, trends, and issues to IT leadership and stakeholders. Ensure all Configuration Items (CIs) in the CMDB are properly identified, classified, and maintained. ### Job Requirements Experience with ServiceNow, including implementation and management. ITIL v4 certification is required. Ability to analyze data from multiple sources such as SCCM, ServiceWatch/ServiceNow Discovery, Altiris, and LANDesk or similar tools. Good technical background and understanding of IT Service Infrastructure and software technologies. Excellent presentation and communication skills to deliver CMDB status to stakeholders. ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified Implementation Specialist, Certified System Administrator) are preferred. Experience with ITSM Configuration Management is required. Experience with IT End User Asset Management is preferred. Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel, are needed for analyzing large volumes of data. CSA certified. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. Good understanding of IT governance frameworks and best practices. Project management skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards relevant to ServiceNow usage. Experience in large-scale IT transformation projects. Knowledge of ITIL practices and methodologies.
