Senior Consultant - Software Asset Management

Role Overview: As part of the Global ITAM team at Hitachi Digital, your mission will be to protect the company's IT assets and manage the IT asset lifecycle effectively. You will ensure alignment with business needs and compliance requirements while supporting the integrity of vital information systems through robust asset governance. Your role will involve identifying, documenting, and reporting license compliance issues, maintaining the accuracy of data in the Asset Management System, and collaborating with various IT groups responsible for different IT assets. You will play a crucial part in maintaining software standards, validating product lists, and coordinating software license and maintenance agreement reviews. Key Responsibilities: - Track and manage the complete life cycle of software assets for the organization - Identify, document, and report license compliance issues and recommend solutions - Maintain the accuracy of data in the Asset Management System and update, track, and report on all assets - Work closely with various IT groups responsible for different IT assets - Maintain software standards, validate product lists, and coordinate software license and maintenance agreement reviews Qualifications Required: - 5-10 years of experience in software compliance management - ITIL Foundations Certificate and experience in a multicultural environment - Familiarity with asset management software and/or inventory tracking systems like Flexera, ServiceNow (with SAM\SaaS modules), Zylo, Productiv, etc. - Expertise in reconciliation, matching, comparison, and manual data reconciliation - Familiarity with contract/agreement review and accurate interpretation - Knowledge of software vendors and their products, including Microsoft, Oracle, Adobe, Atlassian, Zoom, Miro, etc. - Understanding of licensing, Terms and Conditions, EULAs, PURs, and vendor changes - Basic understanding of FinOps (Cloud), SaaS, AI management - Excellent people skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams, partners, and customers - Strong interpersonal, collaboration, communication, and relationship skills for delivering a positive customer experience Please note: The additional details about the company have been omitted as they are not directly related to the job description provided.,
