Senior Consultant - Software Asset Management

You will be joining Hitachi Digital, a company leading the digital transformation and a key division of Hitachi Group. The Global ITAM team at Hitachi Digital is looking for an experienced professional to fill the role of Software Asset Manager. As a Software Asset Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing the complete life cycle of software assets for the organization. Your responsibilities will include identifying, documenting, and reporting license compliance issues, maintaining accurate data in the Asset Management System, and working closely with various IT groups responsible for IT assets. You will also be responsible for maintaining software standards, validating product lists, and coordinating software license and maintenance agreement reviews. **Key Responsibilities:** - Track and manage the complete life cycle of software assets - Identify, document, and report license compliance issues - Maintain accuracy of data in the Asset Management System - Work closely with various IT groups responsible for IT assets - Maintain software standards and coordinate software license and maintenance agreement reviews **Qualifications Required:** - 5-10 years" experience in software compliance management - ITIL Foundations Certificate and experience in a multicultural environment - Familiarity with asset management software and/or inventory tracking systems such as Flexera, ServiceNow, Zylo, etc. - Expertise in reconciliation, matching, comparison, and manual data reconciliation - Familiarity with contract/agreement review and accurate interpretation - Familiarity with software vendors and their products - Basic understanding of FinOps (Cloud), SaaS, AI management - Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, communication, and relationship skills Hitachi Digital is a global company that values diversity, inclusivity, and innovation.
