Key Skills:

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Act as the lead Automation Test Engineer within the team, ensuring test coverage and quality for web, desktop, and data warehouse applications
• Design, build, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Tosca, Selenium, Cucumber (BDD)
• Define test strategy, write test plans, develop automation scripts, and manage test data and test artifacts
• Drive automation best practices including requirement traceability, reusable framework design, code reviews, and reporting metrics
• Perform API testing using Rest Assured, automate functional and integration test scenarios
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines integrating GitHub, Jenkins, Cucumber, and Jira
• Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation in test automation, CI/CD, and testing practices
• Participate actively in Scrum ceremonies and act as the single point of accountability for test delivery within Agile teams
• Collaborate with development, product, and support teams to ensure successful and high-quality delivery
• Analyze bugs, manage defect lifecycle, and perform root cause analysis using Jira and Zephyr
• Support Control-M job validations and ETL/dataflow test verifications
• Engage in architectural and design discussions, offering insights on automation strategy and impact
• Stay updated with industry tools, practices, and trends to bring innovation and efficiency into testing

Skills Required:

• Proven expertise in Tosca, Selenium, and BDD (Cucumber)
• Strong knowledge of automation and manual testing methodologies
• Hands-on experience in CI/CD pipeline creation and integration tools (Jenkins, GitHub, Jira)
• Strong SQL and UNIX shell scripting skills
• Experience in ETL testing and job scheduling tools (Control-M)
• Experience in Agile development environments
• API testing skills using tools such as Postman and Rest Assured
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills
• Ability to work across cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations effectively

Education:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
• Relevant certifications in test automation tools and frameworks are a plus
