Senior Collection Manager

As a Collection Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective collections strategies and procedures to maximize debt recovery while ensuring positive customer relationships are maintained. Your key duties will include managing a team of Tele collections agents, providing them with guidance, support, and necessary training. It will be your responsibility to monitor and analyze the performance of the collections team, implementing measures to enhance productivity and success rates. Reviewing and evaluating delinquent accounts to determine appropriate actions in alignment with company policies and legal requirements will be crucial. You are expected to maintain accurate records of all collections activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal policies. Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as legal, finance, and customer service to resolve complex customer issues is also part of your role. Staying updated on industry trends and best practices in collections and implementing new strategies or technologies as required will be essential. You will be responsible for preparing regular reports on collections activities and presenting data and insights to senior management. Building and maintaining relationships with external collection agencies, attorneys, and service providers will also be necessary.
