Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Senior Cognos Admin with 6-10 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administration and troubleshooting, with excellent problem-solving skills.

Roles and Responsibility

Install, configure, and maintain Cognos and Informatica software components.
Monitor and ensure the performance, availability, and security of Cognos and Informatica environments.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Cognos and Informatica applications, databases, servers, and integrations.
Perform system backups, disaster recovery planning, and implementation.
Implement and enforce best practices for Cognos and Informatica administration, security, and performance tuning.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Cognos and Informatica Administrator or similar role.
Solid understanding of Cognos and Informatica installation, configuration, and administration.
Familiarity with relational databases, SQL, and data warehousing concepts.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
