Strong cloud architecture: Deep design experience on at least one public cloud (GCP preferred; AWS/Azure acceptable) including networking, security, scalability, and reliability patterns.
Microservices and APIs: Proven experience designing and implementing microservices-based architectures and REST/graph APIs, including service boundaries, communication patterns, and observability.
Event-driven & Kafka: Hands-on experience using Apache Kafka or similar event streaming tech as the backbone for integration and communication between services and legacy systems.
Databases: Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL (e.g., relational + document/column stores) and how to design data models in cloud environments.
DevOps/Cloud-native: Familiarity with CI/CD, containers, Kubernetes, infrastructure-as-code, and DevSecOps/DataOps practices.
Architect and implement cloud-native, cloud-first solutions (GCP preferred)
2+ years hands-on implementing workloads on GCP (or strong AWS/Azure plus at least some GCP exposure)
