Job Description

Multi-Cloud Operations (AWS & Azure)

Lead day-to-day operations of production cloud environments across AWS and Azure.
Deploy, manage, and enhance services including EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, AKS, Storage Accounts, VNets.
Architect and maintain scalable and secure IaC using Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation, etc.
Enhance system reliability, performance and availability; handle incident response and participate in on-call rotations.

Identity, IAM & Account Creation

Own end-to-end
IAM management
across AWS and Azure including
role creation, policy management, permission boundaries
, and least-privilege access models.
Provision and manage
cloud accounts/subscriptions
, ensuring alignment with organisational standards (naming, tagging, cost allocation).
Integrate
Okta
, Azure AD, and AWS IAM Identity Center for SSO/MFA and user lifecycle management.

FinOps & Cost Optimisation

Implement FinOps practices across AWS and Azure to control and optimise spend.
Generate and present detailed cost reports, forecasts and optimisation recommendations.
Ensure proper tagging, reserved instance strategy, rightsizing, lifecycle policies and budget alerts.

GitOps, CI/CD & Automation

Own Git workflow governance (branching, approvals, access, repo structure) in GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket.
Support engineering teams with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps deployments.
Develop automation tools and scripts using Python/Bash to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual work.

Have you got what it takes

5+ years working in
Cloud Operations / SRE / DevOps
Strong production-level experience with
AWS and Azure
.
Deep expertise in
IAM
, organisational account/subscription creation & governance.
Proficiency with
Okta
and/or Azure AD for identity & access management integrations.
Strong knowledge of
FinOps tools/practices
and cloud cost optimisation techniques.
Experienced with
Git
, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code (Terraform preferred).
Proven scripting/automation abilities (Python or Bash).
Strong understanding of network, security, monitoring and incident management in large-scale systems.
