Job Description

Role Overview: As a highly experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer at Miratech, your main responsibility will be to implement and support the current and future DNS architecture in private and public cloud environments. You will play a key role in ensuring scalability, resilience, automation, and performance optimization of the DNS environment by utilizing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Pulumi. Your expertise in DNS, NTP, LDAP, and Linux operating systems will be crucial in collaborating with platform and SRE teams to maintain secure and high-performing services for mission-critical applications. Key Responsibilities: - Implement and support large-scale DNS Architecture spanning private and public clouds across multiple regions. - Deploy and maintain Infoblox DDI solutions (DNS, IPAM, DHCP), Cloudflare DNS management, Google & AWS DNS services. - Ensure the reliability of NTP and LDAP services on Linux instances. - Utilize Infrastructure as code through CI/CD automation, Ansible, Terraform/Pulumi, Python, and Bash for automated provisioning of DNS services. - Establish and manage CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure updates, patches, and rollbacks. - Automate monitoring, alerting, and self-healing using GitOps and observability tools like Prometheus, Loki, and Grafana. - Maintain high availability, disaster recovery, and scalable operations. - Conduct troubleshooting and performance analysis across hypervisors, storage, and networking. - Participate in on-call rotation, incident response, and root cause analysis. Qualifications: - 5+ years of experience in managing global DNS, NTP, and LDAP systems on Linux Operating Systems. - Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code with Ansible, Terraform, or Pulumi. - Expertise with Infoblox DDI systems and familiarity with enterprise DNS systems like BlueCat, Bind9, CloudFlare, GCP, and AWS DNS services. - Knowledge of Infrastructure technology stacks including Hypervisor Technologies (KVM, Vsphere), storage protocols (iSCSI, NFS, CEPH), L2/L3 Networking. - Strong background in Linux systems engineering with advanced scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go. - Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated test frameworks. - Strong track record supporting 24x7 customer-facing production environments. - Demonstrated success in building or maintaining multi-region or high-availability OpenStack clusters. - Ability to write technical documentation and contribute to community wikis or knowledge bases in large enterprise infrastructure environments. Nice to have: - Experience implementing OpenLDAP & NTP services, preferably Microchip SyncServer systems. - Familiarity with Cisco UCS Blade Servers or similar server Infrastructure, Block/File Storage (Soft defined storage preferred). - Understanding of security best practices for system patching and security compliance (e.g., CIS, NIST). - Background in telco, edge cloud environments.
