Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

As a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in designing, automating, and managing scalable and highly available cloud deployments. You will collaborate with architects and engineering teams to implement optimal cloud solutions, automate deployments using CI/CD pipelines, and manage applications on GCP. Additionally, you will design middleware integrations, monitor cloud infrastructure, troubleshoot middleware issues, and ensure compliance with best practices in cloud security and scalability. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, automate, and manage scalable and highly available cloud deployments. - Collaborate with architects and engineering teams to identify and implement optimal cloud solutions. - Automate deployments using CI/CD pipelines and manage applications on GCP. - Design and implement middleware integrations and manage API-based communication. - Monitor cloud infrastructure, optimize performance, and enable self-healing capabilities. - Troubleshoot middleware issues, optimize data flow, and enhance infrastructure security. - Work on observability tools like Grafana and Prometheus for system-level monitoring. - Ensure compliance with best practices in cloud security, scalability, and reliability. - Perform continuous improvement reviews and recommend system optimizations. **Must-Have Technical Skills:** - Strong experience in GCP Cloud Engineering (Public/Private Cloud) - Expertise in Terraform (Enterprise/Community) for IaC - Hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes (GKE/EKS/OpenShift), deployments, StatefulSets, services - Strong Cloud Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, SSL, Forward/Reverse Proxy) - Experience with Helm, Kustomize, ArgoCD for config and deployment management - DevOps skills with GitHub, Tekton, GCP Cloud Build (preferred) - Strong scripting/programming skills: Java, Python, GoLang, JS, Node.js - Experience with API development, REST, Apigee, OAuth, JWT, IAM, SSL/TLS - Hands-on with Grafana, Prometheus, logging & cloud monitoring tools - Experience with automation tools & self-hosted private/public cloud solutions - Proven DevSecOps and cloud security implementation experience In addition to the above qualifications, the following preferred qualifications are desired for this role: - Minimum 5+ years in DevSecOps - Minimum 3+ years in Cloud Engineering - Cloud Certifications (GCP preferred),
