Senior Civil & Structural Engineer(Proposals, Budgeting& Contract Mgmt

Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Civil/Structural Engineer with 8+ years hands-on experience in project budgeting, tendering and contract administration. You will be the primary face for our proposals and budgeting team, ensuring accurate cost estimates, competitive bids and compliant contracts—and above all, timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Lead preparation of cost estimates, budgets and cash-flow forecasts for civil/structural projects

Develop tender packages (RFPs/RFQs), manage bid timelines and coordinate multidisciplinary input

Evaluate bids, conduct value-engineering workshops and recommend supplier/subcontractor selections

Draft, negotiate and administer contracts (standard forms such as FIDIC/NEC or client-specific)

Track contract milestones, variations, claims and ensure timely resolution of disputes

Monitor project costs vs. budget; produce monthly reports, highlight risks and propose mitigation

Serve as liaison between Commercial, Project Management and Design teams to align scope, schedule and cost

Present proposals, pricing models and contract terms to clients and senior management

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry rates, regional market trends and regulatory requirements

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering

Minimum 8 years’ proven experience in budgeting, tendering and contract management on medium–large civil/structural projects

Hands-on familiarity with cost-estimating and scheduling tools (e.g. Advance excel,Primavera P6, MS Project)

Solid understanding of contract law and standard construction forms (FIDIC or equivalents)

Demonstrated track record of delivering projects on time and on budget
