Senior Civil Lawyer

Roles Description:

This is a full-time on-site role for an Advocate based in Chennai.

• The Advocate will be responsible for providing legal counsel and support
• Representing clients in court
• Conducting legal research
• Drafting legal documents
• Advising on compliance and regulatory issues
• The Advocate will also be involved in mediation and arbitration processes and work collaboratively with the legal team to develop case strategies.
• the advocate will give legal opinion on property documents and documentation works.

Qualifications:

• MINIMUM 10 years experience
• Civil law expert
• Legal Research, Drafting Legal Documents, and Compliance skills
• Experience in Mediation and Arbitration
• Strong ability to represent clients in court and develop case strategies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Experience in corporate law is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or related field; advanced degree or specialization in law is preferred
• Legal opinion on property documents and to draft deeds for registration work
