Senior Civil Engineer

JOB SPECIFICATIONS   Roles and Responsibilities:   1.     Ensure site safety co-ordination with safety team, weekly safety audit and maintaining proper housekeeping and 5S standard at site. 2.     Obtain permits from various statutory bodies at the Site before the start of the work. 3.     Responsible for the construction activity of project/site checking, inspection and approval, quality of work from start to finish. 4.     Solicit material samples from contractor and checking of material received on site as per approved specifications. 5.     Ensure that the work is executed as per the schedule and within required timeframe 6.     Resolve non-conformances of construction work. 7.     Snag/ Punch lists (Generation and until certification of completion) 8.     Ensuring site measurements and JMR/OGL records have been certified and recorded on day-to-day basis. 9.     Preparing bill for submission to client. 10.  Supervision of compliance to the safety regulations and removal of accident hazards within the sphere of responsibility. 11.  Maintaining proper housekeeping and 5S standard site and at labour colony. 12.  Carry out any job allotted by superiors and as per organizational need. 13.  Meeting the clients and preparing BOQ for various works. 14.  Conducting site review meeting with subordinates, clients and contractors     Authority: 1.     Work assignment to contracting team. 2.     Arrange on site co-ordination meetings with contractors and client to resolve construction issues. 3.     Measurement certification of contractor’s work. 4.     Modification in equipment to improve safety, productivity, economy of operation, fatigue reduction etc. 5.     Skill evaluation for contractor.   Accountability: 1.     Completion of the project as per schedule and quality. 2.     Safety incidents at site. 3.     Site up keeping. 4.     Site checking and maintaining records.
