 Senior Centre Manager - Microfinance 
 Job Purpose 
Responsible for conducting village surveys, acquiring new customers, performing CGT, house verification, income assessments, and quality sourcing. Ensures collections and recoveries are completed as per group/centre meeting schedules. Maintains healthy customer relationships within the assigned location.  Duties and Responsibilities 
  • Conduct village surveys and prospect in selected villages; explain BFL MFI JLG product offerings during prospecting sessions.
  • Source new customers in allocated locations, form JLG groups, and promote financial literacy among potential borrowers.
  • Collect all necessary information for sourcing, perform data entry/upload, and validate documents on LOS as per SOP.
  • Coordinate with Branch Manager for necessary approvals and Credit Operations Officer at branch for disbursements as per process.
  • Plan center meetings, notify customers in advance, and ensure 100% participation of borrowers. Resolve customer queries and promote top-ups/cross-sell as defined for the branch. Manage a portfolio of 450–500 customers.
  • Ensure collections are completed from customers according to scheduled center meeting days, and 100% recovery is deposited at defined points as per SOP.
  • Carry out end-use monitoring of loans as per process.
  • Maintain cordial relationships with all potential and existing borrowers, ensuring 100% compliance and good conduct on all SOPs and practices as defined in the branch operating model.
  • Create daily reports of tasks planned and executed, and submit to Branch Manager.
  • Ensure recovery disposition reconciliation is completed with Credit and Operations Officer as per schedule.
  • Ensure execution of critical parameters such as lead to login as per matrix.
  • Maintain center meeting discipline, follow SOPs, and adhere to the code of conduct.

  •  Major Challenges 
  • Ensuring quality sourcing and achieving defined targets.
  • Maintaining regular collections and keeping customers current; regularizing and normalizing delinquent customers.
  • Compliance with all business parameters and achieving zero audit findings on sourced customer segments/portfolio.
