Description
As a Senior Business Manager at Meesho, you will be a key player in driving growth across all categories by taking ownership of a specific category. Your responsibilities will include deciding on the right selection, pricing, and growth strategy, as well as shaping the user experience. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as Product, Ops, Marketing, Pricing, and Quality to ensure success. In this role, you will work in a fast-paced environment, creating new systems and processes while constantly balancing customer needs, competitive landscapes, and strategic priorities. You will be expected to understand the market landscape, customer behavior, and identify existing gaps to deliver on goals effectively. To excel in this role, you will need a Bachelor's Degree (preferably a Master's Degree) along with at least 6+ years of experience in e-commerce business. Strong analytical skills, the ability to drive partnerships, manage complex projects and teams, and demonstrated career growth are essential. Entrepreneurial or general management/management consulting experience is preferred. You should be able to identify areas of improvement for different categories and the overall business, plan and deliver on business-related goals, and lead and motivate teams effectively. Additionally, you should possess ruthless prioritization skills between immediate, medium, and long-term goals, strong communication abilities to align stakeholders, and the capacity to analyze data to identify areas of success or improvement. Your role will involve collaborating with Product, Tech, Fulfillment, Experience, and User Growth teams to develop and execute business operational strategies, including financial forecasting, monitoring, and reporting. You will also be responsible for presenting customers with data-based arguments to achieve business goals and managing programs to deliver critical objectives within tight timelines.
