What does a Business Analyst do?

As a Business Analyst, you are a key member of the team building business for our Products such as Patient Nexus and Service businesses. You will help define complex business requirements, by working closely with our key business stakeholders from multiple functions. You will be a key liaison between the Business Team and our talented IT development team. You will be pivotal in helping design and test the solutions we build, to ensure they meet the documented business requirements.

What does your day look like at Value Health Inc?

• Partner with Business Stakeholders to understand and document complex business requirements and test scenarios using tools such as JIRA
• Act as a liaison between the Business and IT development teams. Communicate the requirements clearly to the development team.
• Perform functional testing and validation of the solution built by the Development team to ensure they meet the business requirements
• Partner with Business Stakeholders to help them validate the solution.
• Coordinate with the IT Development team to plan and release the solution to Production for users
• Design and develop software programs per technical specifications following programming standards and procedures

Governance and Standards:

• Maintain Project plan, Issue registers and other documentations that reflects the health of the project
• Adhere to customer and Management reporting mechanisms to provide up to date information on project progress

Collaboration and Communication:

• Collaborate with other teams in IT and our business stakeholders.
• Collaborate with business leadership and IT service managers to understand the business requirements and strategy, and translate them into technology capabilities
• Maintain a level of urgency towards timelines and results.

Staying Ahead of the Curve:

• Continuously learn and stay updated on the latest Salesforce trends, features, and best practices.
• Share your knowledge and expertise through internal training sessions and mentoring opportunities.

What do we look for in you?

• 3-5 years of experience in a business analyst role with Computer Science background
• Awareness of Agile methods and techniques
• Deep curiosity to learn and absorb new technologies quickly
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Salesforce or Healthcare & Life Sciences background preferred
