Senior Business Analyst

Role & responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements in BRDs and Functional Specifications (FSDs).
• Develop clear and concise user stories and acceptance criteria for Agile development teams.
• Drive the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes to ensure timely and quality deliveries.
• Conduct data analysis to support product features, decision-making, and performance measurement.
• Manage and engage stakeholders across various levels, bridging communication between business and technical teams.
• Understand and analyze payments processes, including UPI, Card payments, POS systems, and Merchant Acquiring workflows.
• Participate in requirement workshops, design discussions, and testing efforts.

Preferred candidate profile

• Masters/Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2 to 5 years of proven experience as a Business Analyst in product teams.
• Strong experience in writing Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specification Documents (FSD), user stories, and journey maps.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, etc.
• Good understanding of SDLC and software delivery lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience in the Payments industry, specifically with UPI, Card transactions, POS integration, and Merchant Acquiring.
• Proficient in data analysis tools or SQL to analyze business data.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced product development environment

• Experience with UPI, POS, Payment gateways.

• Previous experience working in fintech or banking product teams.
