Senior Business Analyst- Insurance

Role & responsibilities

• Support the development of new or enhanced insurance platform features for Insurance clients dealing in Travel / Auto / Accident / Health / Disability / Life / Liability / Property / Weather insurance etc.
• Understanding system functionalities, map user requirements to the functionalities and provide solutions.
• Creating a product road map based on the internal stakeholders' vision.
• Managing the product and prioritizing it based on changing requirements.
• Define, analyse and clearly capture the business requirements to produce high-quality extensive documentation that meets business standards.
• Liaising with the product development team and Clients in explaining and developing the product functionalities required in the system.
• Ensure the Application/solutions meets the business needs and requirements of the Client.
• Perform User Acceptance Testing.

Skill

• Expert level knowledge in Insurance Domain- Parametric and Non Parametric Insurance
• Experience in Insurance Core systems, Business Processes and Custom Development.
• Having experience in Insuretech platform building, advising on design and bringing in enhancements, B2B and B2C Platforms.
• Knowledge in Core Banking Concepts would be an added advantage.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and engagement skills with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
• In-depth knowledge of requirement elicitation and specification, process flows, and developing business use case scenarios.

Preferred candidate profile

• Master's Degree in Finance, Banking, Accounting, Commerce or its equivalent.
• Certification in the Insurance Domain would be an added Advantage.
