Objective:
Lead maize breeding programs to develop superior hybrids and inbred lines aligned with market and environmental needs.
Key Focus Areas:

Design and execute maize breeding strategies for yield, adaptability, and stress resistance.
Develop and manage
hybrid pipelines
and
germplasm diversity
using global and local genetic resources.
Apply
molecular breeding tools, genomic selection, and data-driven decision-making
.
Collaborate cross-functionally with
product development, seed production, QA, and marketing teams
.
Manage
multi-location field trials
, off-season nurseries, and data accuracy.
Mentor and lead breeding teams, fostering innovation and efficiency.

Qualification:
Ph.D. in
Plant Breeding/Genetics/Agronomy
Experience:
5–10 years in breeding (minimum
5 years in maize breeding
).
Key Skills:
Core breeding, data analytics, agronomy, project leadership, regulatory compliance, adaptability.
Attributes:
Strategic thinker, strong field observation, effective communicator, and collaborative leader.
