As a Senior Software Engineer at Level AI, you will also be encouraged to adopt and leverage AI tools and techniques to enhance engineering workflows, code quality, testing, and delivery speed. You will take bottom-up ownership of the code you write, ensuring production readiness, system stability, and operational excellence. Proactively improving system reliability, scalability, and maintainability, as well as incorporating observability and monitoring into the core design and development process, will be key responsibilities. Operating in an agile environment, you will be tasked with delivering high-quality software with fast feedback loops. To be considered for this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Electronics, or related fields from a tier-1 institution, or equivalent relevant experience with a leading technology company. A minimum of 3 years of backend engineering experience, proficiency in at least one high-level programming language (preferably Python), and hands-on experience with Django or similar frameworks are essential qualifications. A strong understanding of relational databases, data modeling, and REST API design is required, while exposure to machine learning/NLP concepts is advantageous. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills, along with a deep understanding of core Computer Science concepts, including Algorithms, Data Structures, Object-Oriented Design, and Databases, are highly valued.
