Senior Backend Engineer

You will be joining a team at Leoforce that is at the forefront of revolutionizing talent acquisition through the development of AI-powered agentic bots. As a Backend Developer, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining scalable backend systems that form the foundation of intelligent products. These systems enable the automation and enhancement of hiring processes through the integration of AI capabilities such as large language models and cutting-edge tools. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with AI and product teams to translate AI models and workflows into robust features, developing fast and fault-tolerant microservices for handling data flows, optimizing pipelines for engineering and model evaluation, ensuring code quality through testing frameworks, and staying updated on the latest advancements in AI tooling and backend architecture. We are looking for candidates with strong backend development experience in Python (preferably with FastAPI) or Java, hands-on experience integrating large language models, practical knowledge of RAG pipelines and agentic workflows, familiarity with AI orchestration tools, experience in evaluating and tuning model performance, and the ability to design fault-tolerant backend systems. Experience with relational databases, cloud platforms (especially AWS and Azure), and real-time systems is also desired.
