Senior Backend Engineer

Role & responsibilities

Design & Develop Secure API Integration Develop, package and deploy Microservices, unit tests Design and implement data models

Expert in Python with strong experience in microservice design, unit test and integration test development Hands-on experience on AWS serverless services Understanding of logging, monitoring and observability

Technical Skills

• Expert-level Python

• Strong command over Python for backend development
• Experience with clean, modular, and testable code

• Microservices Architecture

• Designing, developing, and deploying microservices
• Experience with API-first and service-oriented design
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and secure API integrations

• AWS Serverless Expertise

• Hands-on experience with services such as:
• AWS Lambda
• API Gateway
• DynamoDB / RDS
• S3
• IAM
• Experience deploying serverless workloads in production

• Testing & Quality Engineering

• Strong experience with:
• Unit testing
• Integration testing
• Familiar with test automation frameworks in Python

• Data Modeling

• Ability to design efficient data models for backend services
• Experience working with structured and semi-structured data

• Security & Reliability

• Secure API design and authentication/authorization concepts
• Understanding of backend security best practices

• Logging, Monitoring & Observability

• Hands-on experience with logging and monitoring tools
• Ability to troubleshoot production issues using observability data
