Senior Backend Developer (Python)

Job Description: You are being sought after for the position of Senior Backend Engineer at Attri, one of Uplers" clients. At Attri, the engineering team is expanding, and they are in need of a Backend Developer to aid in the evolution of the company to its next phase. Your role will be crucial in refining the system architecture, ensuring seamless integration of various tech stacks, and streamlining processes. Responsibilities: - Act as the liaison between the engineering and product teams, understanding the long-term product roadmap and architecting a scalable system design. - Take charge of translating product insights into detailed engineering requirements. - Divide work among the team and oversee the development of components for each sprint. - Proficient in solution designing and documentation (HLD/LLD). - Develop "Zero Defect Software" efficiently utilizing modern tools like ChatGPT, Co-pilot, etc. - Instill the mindset of building secure, instrumented, and resilient software. - Write high-quality, high-performance, and unit-tested code for a distributed environment using containers. - Continuously enhance DevOps processes for a cloud-native codebase. - Strong design skills in defining API Data Contracts, OOAD, Microservices, Data Models, and Concurrency concepts. - Demonstrate leadership qualities with a focus on quality, innovation, and empowering leadership. Qualifications: Work Experience: - 4-8 years of experience developing full Systems/Micro-services using Python. - Senior engineering responsibilities for at least 3 years. - People mentorship/leadership experience for 3+ years, managing engineers and leading multiple development teams. - Object-oriented design and agile development methodologies experience for 3+ years. - Basic experience in developing/deploying cloud-native software using GCP/AWS/Azure. - Proven track record in building large-scale Product grade systems. - Proficient in SQL/NoSQL/OLAP DBs. - Up-to-date with modern cutting-edge technologies. - Bonus: Understanding of Generative AI frameworks/Libraries like RAG, Langchain, LLAMAindex, etc. Skills: - Strong documentation skills. - Ability to make authoritative decisions and be accountable. - Motivate, lead, and empower others. - Independent contributor and team player. - Knowledge of ML and MLOps concepts.
