Senior Backend Developer (Python)

Role Overview: As a Senior Backend Developer at KJBN Labs, you will play a crucial role in transforming agriculture with intelligent technology. Your main responsibility will be to lead the development of high-performance backend services using Python and contribute to shaping engineering standards. You will be instrumental in designing scalable backend systems, architecting microservices, writing clean and testable code, and collaborating with cross-functional teams for seamless feature delivery. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement scalable backend systems using Python (FastAPI, Django, or Flask) - Architect microservices with clean architecture and domain-driven design - Write clean, modular, and testable code following best practices and coding standards - Build and maintain secure RESTful APIs and data pipelines - Collaborate with Product, DevOps, and Data teams for seamless feature delivery - Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers Qualifications Required: - 47 years of hands-on backend development experience in Python - Strong grasp on clean code, SOLID principles, and scalable system design - Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.) - Familiarity with Docker, Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines - Cloud experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure) - Deep understanding of REST APIs, asynchronous programming, and debugging Additional Details: At KJBN Labs, you will have the opportunity to be part of a tech-for-impact company focused on solving real-world problems.
