The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing robust backend systems that support our financial applications, ensuring high performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend systems for capital market applications.
• Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Implement and optimize database schemas and queries to support application functionality.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of the backend systems through proper testing and validation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve the backend architecture.

Skills and Qualifications

• 6-12 years of experience in backend development, preferably in the capital markets domain.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
• Strong experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• In-depth knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of software development methodologies such as Agile and DevOps.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on performance optimization.
