Job Description

Requirements

6+ years of experience in Design, Development of data lake using Databricks with Python/PySpark
Strong ETL, ELT expertise to handle incremental load, SCDs, Star/Snowflake schema, archival, encryption of the files/data.
Experience in Azure services - Function App, Event Hub is advantage
Strong experience working with SQL/SparkSQL queries, PySpark libraries and scripting, delta lake approach, medallion architecture.
Excellent knowledge of data and analytics, such as dimensional modeling, ETL, reporting tools, data governance, data warehousing, structured and unstructured data.
Troubleshoot, resolve and suggest a deep code-level analysis of Spark to address complex customer issues related to Spark core internals, Spark SQL, Structured Streaming, and Delta.
Ensure data security and compliance with data privacy regulations throughout the data engineering process.
Experience in handling large volume of data in data lake.
Producing high quality documentation for consumption of colleagues and development teams.
Helping teams build CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
Helping development teams solve complex problems in innovative ways. Provide expert technical advice to development teams
