Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Cloud & Data Engineering:

  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL workflows using AWS

services (S3, Glue, EMR, Lambda, Redshift).

  • Implement distributed data processing using PySpark on AWS EMR or Databricks.
  • Optimize data storage and retrieval for performance and cost efficiency.

Programming & Automation:

  • Develop reusable scripts and automation tools in Python for data ingestion,

transformation, and validation.

  • Implement best practices for code quality, testing, and version control (Git).

Data Architecture & Integration:

  • Work with structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.
  • Integrate data pipelines with analytics and BI tools.
  • Ensure data security and compliance with organizational standards.

Monitoring & Performance Tuning:

  • Monitor data workflows and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks.
  • Optimize Spark jobs and AWS resource utilization.

Required Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (S3, Glue, EMR, Lambda, Redshift,

IAM).

  • Proficiency in Python and PySpark for big data processing.
  • Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Understanding of data lake and data warehouse architectures.
