Senior Avionics Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Avionics Engineer to join our team at IITM Research Park, Chennai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in avionics and excellent problem-solving skills.

Roles and Responsibility

• Design and develop avionics systems, including flight control, navigation, and communication systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of avionics systems.
• Conduct thorough analysis and testing of avionics systems to ensure reliability and performance.
• Develop and implement safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance avionics system design and development processes.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Experience in avionics engineering, focusing on software development and testing.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages such as C++, Python, and MATLAB.
• Experience with avionics standards and regulations, including DO-178B/C.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex ideas clearly.
