Senior Automation Engineer

As a Senior Industrial Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of industrial automation solutions to enhance manufacturing operations. Your expertise in industrial automation, control systems, and process improvement will be crucial for success in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop industrial automation solutions, encompassing control systems, HMI interfaces, and SCADA systems. - Create and execute automation strategies to boost efficiency, productivity, and overall quality. - Oversee the implementation and commissioning of automation projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. - Collaborate with various teams, including engineering, operations, and maintenance, to drive successful automation initiatives. - Identify opportunities for process enhancement and execute changes to optimize production efficiency and quality. - Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) for automation systems to ensure consistency and reliability. - Troubleshoot and resolve automation system issues, both hardware and software-related, to maintain operational continuity. - Develop and implement preventive maintenance procedures to uphold the performance of automation systems. Qualifications Required: - Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is preferred. - Experience: 8-12 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation, focusing on the design, development, and implementation of automation solutions. - Skills: Proficiency in industrial automation technologies like PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and industrial networks. Experience with programming languages such as C, C++, and ladder logic. Knowledge of industrial automation standards and regulations is essential. - Certifications: Possession of Certified Automation Professional (CAP) or Certified Industrial Automation Professional (CIAP) certification is advantageous.
