Description
As an Audio Technician in our company, your main responsibilities will include: - Supporting the Audio Engineer in process improvements and revenue strategies by attending regular meetings - Familiarizing yourself with event layouts, supporting audio planning, and managing inventory distribution - Updating and verifying inventory, monitoring outsourced equipment, and ensuring sufficient stock for smooth operations - Handling equipment preparation, storage, transportation, and loading according to guidelines to maintain a safe work environment and compliance with company policies - Contributing ideas, sharing industry innovations, and training the Audio Technician on health and safety compliance - Communicating event schedules, instructions, client requirements, and changes with the team for smooth execution through management and task delegation - Notifying the Jr. Audio Engineer of inventory issues that may delay planning - Following SOPs for inventory outsourcing, supporting budget execution, and assisting with accurate invoicing of deliverables and additions - Monitoring audio equipment for quality issues, assisting the Audio Jr. Engineer with client changes, and troubleshooting technical problems - Being flexible, multitasking, and supporting other departments as needed - Managing post-event equipment prep, storage, and transport, ensuring safe derigging and return to storage - Assisting with loading, unloading, and reviewing event performance while cross-checking inventory to prevent losses - Inspecting audio equipment and structures for defects and arranging servicing at authorized centers - Following up on servicing, costs, and timelines, and reporting damage or shortages to the Jr. Audio Engineer - Supporting the Jr. Audio Engineer in enhancing procurement processes for improved efficiency and effectiveness - Tracking inventory movements and verifying returned equipment against the dry hire voucher for accuracy Qualifications required for this role include: - Live sound experience & expertise with digital and analog consoles - Ability to mix music & speech, perform soundchecks, EQ, & system calibration for events - Set up, operate, and troubleshoot audio systems, ensuring timely setups, safe handling, & neat cable management - Coordinate with producers, artists, technical crew & with internal tech team - Manage backline setup including drums, amps, & instruments - Understanding of signal flow, patching, wireless systems, & audio networking - Maintain audio equipment & inventory, perform basic tests, & report issues - Handle high-pressure events, quick turnarounds, mentor juniors, & adapt to flexible timings - Assist in loading, unloading, & transporting equipment.,
