Description We are seeking a skilled Live Sound Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 1-6 years of experience in live sound engineering and a strong understanding of audio equipment setup, maintenance, and audio mixing. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality audio for live performances and recordings, collaborating closely with artists and technical staff to deliver exceptional sound. If you are passionate about audio and have a keen ear for quality, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities Set up and maintain audio equipment for live events, ensuring optimal performance. Edit, mix, and master both live and recorded audio to meet project specifications. Leverage technical knowledge to meet and surpass expected audio standards during live performances. Conduct tests of audio in various hardware configurations and audio settings to ensure quality and reliability. Collaborate with artists, producers, and other technical staff to achieve desired audio results. Troubleshoot and resolve any audio issues that arise during live events or recordings. Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Audio Engineering, Music Production, or related field preferred. 1-6 years of experience in live sound engineering or related audio production roles. Proficient in operating audio mixing consoles and various audio equipment. Strong knowledge of audio signal flow and acoustics. Experience with audio editing software such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro, or Ableton Live. Ability to work under pressure and in fast-paced environments with minimal supervision. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on collaboration. Familiarity with various microphone types and placement techniques.
