Senior Associate- Statutory audit- Bangalore

You will be working at BDO India Services Private Limited, a part of the global network of professional services firms, offering strategic, operational, accounting, tax, and regulatory advisory services to domestic and international organizations across various industries. With a team of over 10,000 professionals operating in 14 cities and 20 offices, BDO India is expected to grow significantly in the next 3-5 years. **Roles & Responsibilities:** - Perform testing procedures such as substantive and controls testing, vouching, and verification. - Provide necessary support to the team manager on audit engagement formalities. - Handle allocated areas of work, including testing and relevant audit procedures. - Prepare audit work papers ensuring compliance with firm policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. - Manage and supervise junior team members, including article staff. - Act as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the client in terms of data flow, communication, coordination, and discussions. - Coordinate with internal and external teams, including client personnel, for information and data. - Support the team on standardization of processes, documentation, analysis of technical issues, and research solutions. - Assist the team manager in project management, preparing status updates, and compiling requirements lists. - Participate in meetings with various teams and contribute to the areas and responsibilities handled. - Understand business and industry issues and trends. - Ensure timely delivery of working papers as per defined timelines. - Ensure compliance with engagement plans, internal quality, and risk management procedures. **Qualifications Required:** - Experience of 1+ years in a relevant field. - Location: Bangalore/ Chennai/ Hyderabad.
