Job Description

The Medical Record Analyst role involves analyzing, sorting, and summarizing complex medical records with a focus on accuracy and compliance with regulations like HIPAA and GDPR. You will review healthcare documentation, identify key medical events, diagnoses, and treatments for legal or insurance purposes. Ensuring data accuracy and quality control, you will conduct quality checks, identify inconsistencies, and address missing information. Utilizing data management software, you will efficiently handle and organize medical records, maintaining high standards across all data handling processes. You will apply critical thinking to interpret complex medical case histories, extract relevant data, and create detailed reports for internal teams and external clients. Managing multiple projects simultaneously, you will meet tight deadlines while maintaining communication on project status and delivery timelines. Additionally, you will conduct quality assurance checks to ensure regulatory compliance and data accuracy. Being adaptable to new software tools and project scopes, you will engage in continuous learning to stay updated with the latest medical, legal, and technological developments. Drawing from experience in Med-Legal or life insurance projects, you will play a crucial role in legal claims, settlements, or insurance adjudication. Your responsibilities will also include maintaining strict confidentiality and security measures for handling sensitive medical data, ensuring compliance with healthcare privacy regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong proficiency in medical records analysis, exceptional attention to detail, proficiency in data management systems, strong analytical and critical thinking skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience in Med-Legal or insurance-based projects. Requirements include a degree in healthcare, medical informatics, or a related field, along with at least 2 years of experience in medical data analysis.
