Job Description:
The NetSuite Integration Developer for MAS is responsible for supporting multiple client businesses by maintaining, enhancing, and troubleshooting NetSuite integrations. The role involves designing, developing, and supporting seamless connections between the NetSuite ERP platform and various third-party systems. It carries a strategic focus on building scalable, efficient, and reliable integration solutions that align with evolving business needs. This position requires strong technical expertise in SuiteScript and SuiteTalk, along with hands-on experience working with APIs such as REST and SOAP, as well as integration connectors and middleware platforms. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and a solid understanding of ERP systems and business workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, business analysts, and clients to gather integration requirements, analyze business processes, and translate them into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain integrations between NetSuite and external systems (e. g. , CRM, e-commerce platforms, ERP, and custom applications) using SuiteScript, REST/SOAP APIs, web services, and middleware platforms such as Dell Boomi, Celigo, and MuleSoft.
- Implement, configure, and automate data transfers using SFTP or SPS Commerce between NetSuite and external applications, including support for ASN, invoices, purchase orders, and acknowledgment file exchanges.
- Perform script optimizations and conversions from SuiteScript 1. 0 to 2. x, resolving issues such as timeouts, memory limits, and performance bottlenecks.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve integration issues by identifying root causes and implementing fixes, enhancements, or workarounds to maintain system stability and data integrity.
- Support data migration, synchronization, and transformation tasks during implementation and post-go-live phases.
- Optimize integration performance, system scalability, and user experience by proactively identifying and addressing technical inefficiencies.
- Ensure customizations remain compatible with NetSuite platform updates; participate in system upgrades and recommend solutions aligned with new features and best practices.
- Maintain detailed technical documentation, including integration workflows, custom scripts, data mappings, and resolution procedures for ongoing reference.
- Provide technical support and training to clients, internal teams, and end-users as needed.
- Familiar with NetSuite connectors and SuiteApps for enabling seamless third-party integrations and expanding platform functionality.
- Stay up to date with NetSuite releases, enhancements, and system upgrades, and recommend solutions aligned with new features and best practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3 to 8 years of hands-on experience in NetSuite development, with a focus on integrations, SuiteScript 2. x, SuiteFlow, and SuiteAnalytics/SuiteQL.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong proficiency in SuiteScript, SuiteTalk, RESTlets, web services for building and troubleshooting integrations.
- Understanding of NetSuite architecture and core ERP modules, along with familiarity with EDI and workflow automation tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, keen attention to detail, and excellent analytical abilities.
- Experience to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, debug and resolve complex integration issues, and optimize system performance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience integrating NetSuite with third-party applications such as ADP, ClearTax, Salesforce, Shopify, Workday, Coupa, and others.
- Basic understanding of middleware platforms like Dell Boomi, Celigo, and MuleSoft.
- Working knowledge of JavaScript, SQL, JSON, and XML.
- Familiarity with NetSuite administration and configuration, including roles, permissions, custom fields, and forms, is a plus.
- Experience working in agile development environments.
- Hands-on experience using WebStorm IDE with the SDF for NetSuite development.
- Proficiency with version control tools like Git, including branching, merging, and code reviews.
- NetSuite certifications (e. g. , SuiteCloud Developer, Application Developer, Web Services Developer) are a strong plus.
