Job Description

Role Overview:

We are seeking analytics professional with strong experience in

Segmentation & Targeting (S&T)

,

Call Planning

, and broader

Field Force Effectiveness (FFE)

domains. The candidate will be responsible for designing, executing, and optimizing field deployment strategies using advanced analytics and business insights. Exposure to

data science techniques

such as clustering, predictive modeling, or optimization is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement

Segmentation & Targeting

models for sales and medical field teams based on physician potential, prescribing behavior, and market dynamics.
Develop and maintain

Call Planning frameworks

incorporating factors like reach, frequency, workload capacity, and geographic constraints.
Support

Field Force Sizing, Alignment, and Territory Optimization

initiatives.
Partner with business stakeholders to translate brand and field objectives into actionable territory and call plan strategies.
Leverage analytics tools to generate insights on

call plan adherence, customer engagement, and productivity

.
Collaborate with data engineering teams to manage large datasets (sales, affiliations, call activity, claims, etc.).
Prepare visualizations and dashboards (Power BI / Tableau) (optional but good to have) for field and leadership teams.
Apply

data science techniques

(optional but good to have) such as clustering, predictive analytics, or optimization models to enhance targeting and call planning processes.
Document methodologies and share best practices to ensure consistency across markets.
  • Good understanding of commercial operations and analytics as a domain
  • Expertise with SF/FF datasets for creating dashboards and reports for multiple user personas
  • Hands-on experience with tools like Qlik/Power BI/Tableau and technologies like Python/SQL
  • Stakeholder management abilities and storytelling skills
  • Experience in working with pharma clients across US and Europe

What You Bring:

Education:

Bachelors or masters degree in data science, statistics, computer science, engineering, or a related field with a strong academic record.

Experience:

2-5 years of experience in Field Force Excellence, particularly in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, working with key datasets

Skills:

Solid understanding of

pharma data sources

Sales (IQVIA, internal), affiliations, call activity, and customer master data.
Strong experience with SQL and cloud-based data processing environments such as AWS (Redshift, Athena, S3)
Demonstrated ability to build data visualizations and communicate insights through tools like PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik, QuickSight, or similar.
Strong analytical skills, with experience in analogue analysis
Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data science concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
A strong problem-solving mindset, with the ability to adapt and innovate in a dynamic consulting environment.
