Job Summary
We are seeking a
Senior Associate
to join our growing technical team in Gurugram, India. This role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience with strong expertise in technical research, and intellectual property (IP)-related matters.This role is well-suited for individuals who are passionate about technology, thrive in a high-growth startup environment, and enjoy a hands-on approach with the latest tech innovations.
Responsibilities And Duties
- Provide technology consulting services to law firms and corporates
- Understand underlying technologies to analyze patent portfolios and help solve client's technical queries
- Perform research and analysis, including but not limited to technology research, technology due diligence, market research, prior art searches, target scouting, invalidity analysis, infringement analysis, and claim charting
- Demonstrate familarity with IP service lines such as prior art searches, freedom-to-operate (FTO) analysis, invalidity/validity studies, infringement mapping, patent landscape analysis, claim charting, and patentability assessments
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of relevant architectures, standards, and protocols within the chosen domain(s)
- Explain complex technology and IP matters to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Effectively handle calls and communications with US-based clients, including industry experts, corporate counsel, CEOs, startup founders, and IP litigators
- Collaborate with product teams to guide the development and testing of Lumenci's technology platforms
- Showcase technology and IP thought leadership through blogs, research reports, and other channels
- Establish and cultivate strong relationships internally and externally, working seamlessly with both in-person and virtual global teams

Education And Experience
- BTech/MTech/PhD in Computers, Electronics, Communications, or Electrical Engineering from premier colleges such as IITs, BITS, and NITs
- 3-6 years of experience in relevant Tech industry e.g. Telecom, Software, Semiconductor, and Cloud computing
- Experience with IP matters (infringement analysis, EOUs, prior art searches, landscaping, etc.)
