As a Senior Associate BCP at the company, you will play a crucial role in managing the business continuity program that addresses disaster recovery, business continuity, and emergency response management. Your responsibilities will include: - Helping project and support teams to document their BCP plan, DR plan & emergency response plan. - Performing BC/DR risk assessments to identify SPOFs and potential threats to business. - Conducting Business Impact Analysis to identify critical Business Processes, Applications, Maximum Acceptable Outage, Recovery Time Objective, and Recovery Point Objective etc. - Developing Business Continuity Recovery Plans to address failure scenarios and recovery strategies. - Working closely with technology teams to understand and develop the appropriate disaster recovery strategies across IT infrastructure, critical business applications, and additional technology services. - Executing recovery and restoration of critical applications using relevant tools. - Developing, producing, and updating BCP/DR materials and documentation (e.g., recovery plans, call trees, test results, etc.) - Executing Simulation tests, tabletop exercises, and DR/technology recovery tests. - Monitoring and reporting compliance to BCM processes. - Assisting during client audits and visits. - Ensuring quality deliverables and client satisfaction. - Serving as a point of contact for project and support teams for BCP/DR. - Ensuring effective stakeholder engagement both locally and globally. - Cultivating relationships across internal teams and working towards building professional networks. - Building a positive, transparent, collaborative working environment for the team. - Managing time effectively to ensure project or non-project related deliverables are completed in a timely fashion. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelors or Masters degree in IT, science, math, engineering, computers, security, or related field. - 3-5 years of experience in managing Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery programs. - Technical certifications such as CBCP, DRM is a plus. - Working knowledge of any off the shelf BCP/DR product will be an advantage. - Solid understanding of business continuity, disaster recovery, and emergency response methodologies and framework. Skills required for this role include: - Business Continuity Planning - Disaster Recovery - Server Operations - Virtualization - Backup & Restore - Emergency Response - Crisis Communication - Project Management - People Management - Communications and Teamwork Preferred skills for this role include: - Having ISO 22301 implementation or auditing experience. - Demonstrable abilities to liaise with various business units, internal teams, and external teams to understand business requirements, goals and provide reasonable business continuity, disaster recovery mitigations to reduce risk. - Strong oral communications and writing skills are a must. - Experience in managing projects independently. - Being a self-starter with strong organizational skills to enable navigation of the company to identify sponsors, stakeholders, and interested parties. - Ability to identify security risk management opportunities with clients and propose solutions that meet the clients' needs. - Having a can-do attitude as a team player who works well under pressure and with dispersed groups, worldwide.
