Job Description

Job Purpose

For private equity professionals interested in working with leading global private equity real estate and credit funds / asset managers on deal underwriting, due diligence (DD), asset management/portfolio monitoring, lender reporting, etc.

Key Responsibilities

Opportunity screening and analysis for potential real estate investment assessment through financial data analysis (process rent rolls, map T-12s) and updating models to run sensitivities.
Provide support on performing preliminary and detailed underwriting of various properties / loans, sizing models, sales and leasing comps, tax assessments, asset summary reports, etc.
Due diligence support on the target opportunity, loan/property research, IC memos, DD checklists, asset valuation, reviewing and evaluating lease documents, and various third-party reports i.e. property appraisals, ESA, property condition/inspection reports, etc.
Abstract loan documents, track operating and financial covenants, and manage lender reporting timelines and draw requests.
Liaise with property accountants for asset packages and consolidate draft Lender Reporting Packages (LPRs)
.
Project / workflow management: project structuring, conceptualizing output, conducting quality checks, negotiate deadlines with the client, handling client queries and communications.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, build and maintain strong relationships with them while actively seeking opportunities for expansion.

Experience / Key Skills

Minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience in commercial real estate underwriting, financial analysis, or related disciplines.
Proven track record in real estate due diligence, valuation support, lender reporting, etc.
CFA/CA/MBA from a top tier business school.
Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to interpret complex data.
Strong written and communication skills with experience in client relationships.
Proficiency in MS Excel, MS – PPT, MS - Word
Dedicated and motivated individuals have demonstrated the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines with strong analytical and teamwork skills
Hands-on experience on various real estate tools or key databases (Yardi, RCA, CoStar, Green Street, CRE, REIS, Argus, iLevel, Rockport, RealInsight, etc.) for market analysis and reporting.
