Senior Application Consultant

Role Overview: You will be part of MongoDB Professional Services (PS) where you will work with customers of various sizes and industries, helping them with exciting use cases. Key Responsibilities: - Work as a software developer in an Agile team, focusing on migrating customers' legacy relational-based Java applications to modern cloud-based architectures running on MongoDB. - Utilize GenAI tools and approaches to accelerate the migration process and innovate on potential new solutions for specific challenges. - Analyze existing SQL-based architectures, design optimal solutions to modernize applications, and collaborate with stakeholders across technical and business units. - Mentor junior team members, provide guidance, and showcase advanced debugging skills in high-stakes environments. Qualifications Required: - 7-10 years of software development experience with proficiency in Java, including multithreading, AOP, and frameworks like Spring Boot and/or Quarkus. - Previous exposure to enterprise-grade systems and expertise in relational databases, SQL, stored procedures, and ORM tools like JPA and Hibernate. - Experience in system design, microservices architectures, Domain-Driven Design, Agile methodologies, TDD, CI/CD pipelines, and Git version control. - Strong stakeholder management skills, team leadership experience, and familiarity with Python and JavaScript (Node.js) are a plus.
