About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Analytics Consultant with a proven track record of success preferably in the banking industry. In this role, you will: Consult, review and research moderately complex business, operational, and technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable data factors Perform moderately complex data analysis to support and drive strategic initiatives and business needs Develop a deep understanding of technical systems and business processes to extract data driven insights while identifying opportunities for engineering enhancements Lead or participate on large cross group projects Mentor less experienced staff Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, external contractors, and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals Leverage a solid understanding of compliance and risk management requirements for supported area. Required Qualifications: 4+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Desired Qualifications: Strong analytical skills, proficiency in data manipulation tools like SQL, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights to inform strategic business decisions. Ability to collaborate closely with various stakeholders to develop and implement data strategies across the organization. Good to have certifications in Data Engineering. Domain understanding of home lending and its complete product lifecycle (Ops, Sales, Servicing, Risk) will be an added advantage. Strong understanding of business drivers and industry trends of lending products & home lending in specific. Detail oriented, results driven, and can navigate in a quickly changing and high demand environment while balancing multiple priorities. Expected to learn the business aspects quickly, multitask and prioritize between projects. Dedicated, enthusiastic, driven and performance-oriented; possesses a strong work ethic and good team player.
