Senior Analyst-Policy & Regulatory

As a Senior Energy Professional, you will play a crucial role in regulatory, policy, tariff, and commercial matters related to Power Distribution Utilities. Your responsibilities will include: - Assisting in the execution of assignments related to Regulatory, Policy, Tariff, and Commercial matters. - Preparation of Tariff Petitions and Financial Models. - Advising on amendments in Regulations, Acts, Policies, and Plans. - Providing comprehensive support to Power Distribution Utility in routine regulatory matters. - Engaging in business development activities such as preparing proposals, concept notes, and brochures. - Undertaking data analysis on energy market parameters and supporting project execution through reports and presentations. - Conducting primary and secondary research focused on policy and regulatory provisions. - Analyzing Central and State-level Renewable Energy policies. - Developing financial and cost optimization models independently. - Executing policy and regulatory consulting assignments in the energy sector. Your skill set should include: - Proven experience in handling regulatory matters in the electricity distribution sector. - Familiarity with distribution schemes in the energy industry. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. - Ability to develop and implement effective strategies. - Capacity to work independently and as part of a team. - Flexibility to adapt to dynamic requirements. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills. - Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Education and Experience required: - BE/B. Tech (preferably in Electrical) plus MBA (preferably in Power or Finance). - At least 3 years of experience for Senior Analyst role.
