Senior Analyst - IT Security

Role Overview: As an IT Security Analyst/Senior IT Security Analyst at Dover, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cyber security of the organization. You will be responsible for responding to and managing cyber security incidents, conducting threat hunting, performing digital forensics, correlating and analyzing security event logs, and ensuring continuous improvement in security processes and tools. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will be key in safeguarding the organization's digital assets. Key Responsibilities: - Respond to and manage cyber security incidents, including threat detection, containment, eradication, recovery, and post-incident activities. - Proactively hunt for threats within the environment using tools like CrowdStrike and Splunk to identify potential security risks. - Conduct digital forensic investigations to determine the root cause of security incidents and identify areas for improvement. - Correlate security event logs from various sources to identify potential security threats and anomalies. - Maintain accurate and detailed records of incidents, including incident reports, root cause analyses, and lessons learned. - Stay up to date with emerging threats and technologies and make recommendations for process and tool improvements. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.Tech/B.E) or Masters in Computer Applications (MCA) or Technology (M.Tech). - 5-12 years of experience in IT security roles. - Experience in incident response, threat detection, containment, eradication, and recovery. - Proficiency in using tools like CrowdStrike Falcon platform and Splunk for security analysis. - Strong understanding of correlation and analysis techniques including statistical analysis and data visualization. - Experience in digital forensics tools and techniques for disk and network analysis.
