Senior Analyst - Data Analytics

As an Analyst at American Express, you will be a part of the AIM (Analytics, Investment & Marketing Enablement) team within GCS Marketing, contributing to the growth and profitability of the Global Commercial business portfolio. Your role in Gurgaon, India, will involve driving sentinel measurement Analytics across various channels and product offerings, providing valuable insights to support business partners in campaign measurements, ROI analysis, and data-driven decision-making for acquisition & engagement treatments in GCS. Key Responsibilities: - Support business partners with campaign measurements, ROI analysis, and actionable data-driven insights - Develop analytical solutions by gathering requirements, performing data analysis, and delivering timely reporting for marketing & sales leadership - Collaborate with stakeholders, assess business needs, ensure data integrity, and provide actionable recommendations - Drive sentinel measurement Analytics across channels and product offerings - Provide actionable insights to drive business strategy and growth Qualification Required: - Degree in a quantitative field preferred (e.g., B.Tech, BSc/MSc Statistics, Economics) - Knowledge of Hive, Python, PySpark, SQL for data manipulation and statistical modeling - Strong analytical aptitude, technical skills, and project management abilities - Excellent communication skills to present results & methodologies clearly - Ability to work in high-pressure situations with minimal errors and a growth mindset - Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, and challenge the status quo - Comfortable with flexible shift timings to support Global Partners Preferred Qualifications: - 1-2 years of relevant experience with skills in Python, SQL, and Advanced Excel - Knowledge of statistical techniques like hypothesis testing, regression, KNN, t-test, chi-square test - Experience in campaign measurement/marketing analytics is a plus American Express offers comprehensive benefits to support your well-being, including competitive base salaries, bonus incentives, financial support, medical benefits, flexible working arrangements, parental leave policies, wellness centers access, counseling support, and career development opportunities.
