Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and review annual, semi-annual, and quarterly financial statements in compliance with GAAP or IFRS - Compile and review balance sheets, income statements, statements of changes, cash flows, footnotes, and additional schedules - Compile and advise on monthly, quarterly, and annual regulatory reports such as Form PF and Form SLT - Build strong regulatory reporting relationships through interactions with internal parties, clients, regulators (SEC), and audit firm personnel - Write and/or review various reports related to engagements and prepare adhoc reports for clients - Troubleshoot Fund Accounting and client issues, attending meetings and training sessions to enhance knowledge - Ensure accuracy of footnote disclosures by reviewing legal documents governing the fund - Present information internally, with clients, and outside auditors, coordinating the year-end financial statement process - Identify errors or problems, investigate independently, and recommend solutions to team members or supervisors - Work under limited supervision, follow established procedures, plan own work, and suggest methods for new work assignments - Assist in the development of training programs for accountants in financial reporting and the alternative fund industry Qualifications: - Four to six years of asset management accounting experience in Accounting Firm, Hedge Fund, Hedge Fund Administrator, Mutual Fund, or other financial institution - Previous experience in Financial Statement Preparation - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics with a minimum of 9 Accounting credits - Excellent communication skills In summary, at Citco, you will have the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team in the asset servicing sector, where you will be involved in preparing financial statements, regulatory reports, and engaging with clients and auditors.
