Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for manufacturing operations. Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and regulatory requirements. Analyze financial data to identify trends and anomalies. Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs against budgets and forecasts. Provide insights and recommendations to optimize operational costs and improve efficiency. Conduct variance analysis to understand deviations from standard costs.  Oversee inventory accounting, including valuation and reconciliation. Collaborate with operations team to maintain accurate inventory records. Implement inventory control procedures to minimize shrinkage and optimize inventory levels. Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts for manufacturing operations. Track performance against budget and provide variance analysis. Work closely with department heads to understand cost drivers and budgetary needs. Maintain and enhance internal control processes to safeguard company assets. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as regulatory requirements. Support internal and external audits as needed. Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and analysis to support decision-making.Provide financial insights to management on manufacturing projects and investments.Participate in cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and cost savings initiatives.
