Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Ensure accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting and statements within the organization in adherence to accounting standards.
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring thorough and methodical auditing and examination of accounts.
Coordinate and manage all financial audits, implementing improvements and efficiencies where necessary.
Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting team, ensuring professional development and adherence to best practices.
Maintain relationships with banking partners to facilitate diverse financial transactions and streamline operations.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures to safeguard the companys financial resources.

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Commerce or a related field with a focus on accounting and finance principles.
Proven experience in managing financial records and implementing streamlined accounting practices within a corporate setting.
Strong understanding and practical experience in the use of financial modules and systems, particularly in banking and audit management.
Demonstrated ability to lead an accounting team, delivering results under tight deadlines and continually fostering a productive and cooperative work environment.
Exceptional analytical skills capable of interpreting complex financial data and providing strategic recommendations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary for preparing detailed financial reports and presenting findings to senior management.

Key Responsibilities

Drive the accurate preparation and maintenance of financial reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Responsible for conducting thorough financial analyses and audits, identifying discrepancies or areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions.
Ensure efficient management of cash flow within the organization, optimizing the use of financial resources and investments.
Engage proactively with department heads to provide financial insights and support on business operations and financial planning.
Manage tax compliance and liaise with external auditors during audit engagements to ensure transparency and accuracy.
Enhance and automate accounting processes and reporting mechanisms to improve accuracy and efficiency of financial operations.
