Senior Accountant

As a potential candidate for an upcoming role at McDermott, you will be part of the team responsible for supporting the global consolidations and reporting process. Your main role will involve collaborating with other corporate and business line teams to ensure accurate and timely results are achieved. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare monthly and quarterly journal entries to support the month-end close process - Ensure accurate consolidations on a monthly basis, including intercompany analysis and equity roll forward - Support all Corporate project financial reporting and controlling requirements - Ensure compliance with established internal controls and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) - Assist the Corporate Accounting team with related tasks as needed - Conduct ad hoc analysis and fulfill data requests to support various finance and management functions within the organization - Participate in special projects as required Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is mandatory - Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience - Understanding of monthly close, consolidations ownership structure and issues; prior Consolidations experience is advantageous - Advanced knowledge of Excel is essential - Strong communication skills, ability to work in a team-oriented environment, and capability to work independently - Experience with HFM/Oracle FCCS is preferred; experience with JDE/GEAC is a plus McDermott, with a history spanning over 100 years, is at the forefront of driving the energy transition with a team of more than 30,000 professionals across 54 countries.
